We're looking for a Trustee – Income Generation & Partnerships.
21 July 2026

Ipswich Film Theatre Trust is entering an exciting new chapter.
As the organisation behind King Street Cinema and the newly established Ipswich International Film Festival, we're building a bold and sustainable future for independent, international and arthouse cinema in Suffolk. To help realise that ambition, we're seeking a new Trustee with expertise in income generation, sponsorship and strategic partnerships.
This is an opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the future of a growing cultural organisation at a pivotal moment in its development.
Working alongside our Chair, Board of Trustees and executive team, you'll help strengthen the Trust's long-term financial sustainability, develop meaningful partnerships and support the successful launch and continued growth of the Ipswich International Film Festival.
We're particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience in corporate sponsorship, fundraising, commercial partnerships, business development, charity finance or financial management, who can bring strategic insight, strong networks and a collaborative approach to governance.
This voluntary role requires approximately two hours per week, plus attendance at quarterly Board meetings. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
If you believe culture has the power to inspire communities and you're looking to use your experience to help build something with lasting impact, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
To express your interest, please send a covering letter and CV to info@kingstreetcinema.co.uk by Fri, Jul 31.
We welcome informal conversations with prospective applicants before applying. Please share this opportunity with anyone in your network who may be interested in helping shape the future of film culture in Ipswich.
