Brontë follows a young girl who ventures into the forest in search of a mythical spirit — a fox adorned with antlers, equal parts guardian, apparition, and imagined companion. When she finally encounters the creature, the two form a gentle bond, spending time together in the stillness of the woods. Their connection is fleeting, however. The forest spirit eventually disappears, leaving the girl alone with nothing but her memories and the drawings she made to preserve what once felt so real. It’s a simple premise, but one that resonates deeply, touching on themes of imagination, loss, and the quiet ache of growing up.
