Steven Spielberg celebrates his 80th Birthday in 2026 and we're launching Spielberg At 80 with rare screenings of the director's classic ABC TV Movie Of The Week, Duel. A masterclass in minimalist tension, Duel was released to cinemas outside of the US and it makes its return in a new 4K restoration, celebrating its 55th Anniversary and its director's milestone 80th Birthday.
More films from the celebrated director will follow throughout the year and will include a special screening of his first theatrical feature, The Sugarland Express, which will be preceded by an exclusive conversation with Mike Mattesino, producer of the newly restored soundtrack release to the film by John Williams in his first collaboration with the filmmaker.
